this is my disclaimer....
I had a Grandmother who had a lump, was told it was cancer, and then had to have a "mastectomy". I then had another Grandmother on my other side who found a lump, was told it was cancer and then had a "mastectomy". After that, I had an Aunt and then another Aunt and then more distant aunts and cousin's who all have had breast cancer so......when I got my letter today saying "we are pleased to inform you that the results of your screening mammogram performed on August 25,2009, are....(wait for it.....).....NORMAL....both Layton and I cheered and shouted, "hallaluja"!
Ahh, it's great to be just plain old
NORMAL!
Please, if you are 40 or over, don't think that you are so special that it won't happen to you....make the phone call, go get screened, go back every year, and then you can cheer for joy too when hopefully you get your very own letter that tell's you that you are NORMAL too!

Good job. Why didn't I realize that was so prevalent in our fam?
I am so happy you are normal. I have been putting that off this year. I don't want to go and then I read your post below and I remembered why.
