
Interesting how this is the first week of school for everyone around here and yet I didn't start school this week but just look what I have learned in the last 24 hours.
1- I don't know enough about computers.
2- Everything is expensive.
3-Stuff gets broken but you can always get it fixed.
4-Some people are mean BUT think they are funny.
5-Some people go out of their way to be nice BUT don't want any praise.
6-Life can be hard.
7- Life can be sweet.
8-Education is VITAL.
9-You can't believe everything you read.
10-You can believe everything you read....if it is the word of God.
I know, hard to believe all of that came tumbling in on my brain in just 1 day, but it's true! I think my brain is fried for one day! But wait, there's more....
Here are some other things I learned...just today actually....about VITAL VITAMANS -
B-6 is for anti- stress reliever!
EAT Russet potatos, chicken breast and BANANAS!
Antioxidents are for canceling out Free Radicals -
EAT fruit, veggies and make sure you get many different kinds a day.
Potassium is for High Blood Pressure -
EAT Clams and fruit and veg, Especially potatoes, dried peaches avacados and BANANAS!
FOLATE (750mg day) Improves your MEMORY!
EAT 1 c. cooked spinach and 1 c. cooked lentils daiy.
Omega -3 is for smooth skin, mood booster, weight loss, minimize effects of arthuritis, prevents heart disease, dementia and depression
EAT salmon, walnuts, spinach - 3oz of salmon a week or 2.1 gram gaily of omega -3
Lutein is for your eyes-
EAT 1/2 cooked spinach daily, peas, broccoli and corn.
Vitamen D - is for bone lose and stronger bones
EAT fish, eggs , cereal and Fortified MILK (YUCK). OR 700-800 iu.
From the looks of it we need to eat lots of fish, spinach and lots of it, fruit and Veggies by the bushel full and lot's and lot's of BANANAS!
(Hum, maybe we really did come from monkey's?) NAW....
