No, I'm not talking about the cute little song....I'm for reals......At 3am I woke up spinning, with vertigo....dang! It happened in Jan. this year when I was in St. George at a convention and it was AWFUL... awful as in, the ambulance was called and the stretcher was brought and an emergency room visit was ensued!
Today was almost as bad....
I followed the procedure that I was taught and it went away at 3am. At 8:30am, it happened again and once again I followed the procedure and it went away. At 9:30am I went to the orthodontist and it came back in the chair. I followed the procedure and it went away. At 10:30am I went to the hairdresser and it came back with a vengeance when I was getting rinsed out, I couldn't make it go away this time and so, I was taken to the Dr. with wet hair and no makeup from bawlling and stiffly curled up from an anxiety attack. You should have seen Layton and his mortuary friend in their dark suits hauling me out of the beauty salon. How embarrassing!!!
Ironically, the generic information that the Dr. handed me to read said, (and I am NOT making this up)... " If you have vertigo DO NOT go to the Dentist or the Hairdresser until it passes!" Now I ask you, what are the chances that I would have 2 appointments today, one at the orthodontist and one at the hairdresser? I mean really, what are the chances that on the same day that I get vertigo, I would go to the dentist and the hairdresser?......GEEZ
I am now on bed rest for supposedly 4 days but that's not gonna happen!
I will sleep in a reclining position though AND take it easy this week as much as possible.
So, here I am, at my computer, and spinning ....
