I am not the most patient person in the world, k? Yeah, I know it's true. But WHERE IS IT? Sam turned in his papers over 2 weeks ago and we knew with conference it could take longer but today was going to be the day for sure. Not so! Maybe tomorrow we will get a large white envelope squeezed into our snail mail mailbox with his "call to serve". Surely, it will come tomorrow! Sam says he is fine about waiting for the envelope but that I am the one who can't seem to wait.
Hummm,
Door # 1 - I will look at this as a growing opportunity to strengthen one of my many weaknesses by waiting to blow the horn and tell everyone where my son will be sent for 2 years to serve The Lord ,
Door #2 -I am an impatient person that thinks life revolves around me and my family and why isn't the mailman working 24/7 to find that envelope and knock on my door and bow to me as he presents it to us because his entire life is to serve me, wind, rain or shine therefore I have a right to be impatient
or
Door #3 -I can do, say or feel any "darn" way I want to because I am the mom and I rule!......
fine,
I'll take Door #1,
whatever.

Trish you make me smile! I remember Ryan's calling taking FOREVER...or maybe it just seemed that way to us. You'll have to ask my mom how long for sure but either way it is torture. I understand your pain and I'm not the mom...just the sister. We can't wait to hear where he is going!!!
