Am I the only one on the planet who doesn't like Neil Diamond or are there other like minded so called "crazy" individuals out there?

One of my all time favorite movies is "What About Bob".

When Dr. Leo Marvin asks Bob why he got a divorce in their very first session at the beginning of the show, Bob answers with, "Well, there are those people who like Neil Diamond and those who don't". Guess what? I am one of those "don't" people but the sad truth is that I know most of his songs and can sing nearly all of the lyrics right along with the rest of the world. Why am I confessing this sad truth?

When my brother- in -law called me this morning and asked if Layton and I wanted to go to a Neil Diamond concert in Dec. with all the rest of the couples in the family, my answer was simple, honest and brief, "NO". This took him by surprise and stunted his response! "Well, OK? Why? Are you sure? Are you kidding? What?!!!!" I couldn't stop laughing!!!!! Clearly he was in shock!!! "How could anyone in their right mind turn down such a rare and moving chance experience to be moved by Neil Diamond?"

Well, me.

Thanks but no thanks.

And just for the record....our marriage is safe for now since Layton agrees with me!
