10-10-08 The Call to Serve

I just realized that I hadn't posted Sam's pictures from "the big day"! So here are a few of the fun pictures.
Sam got the envelope around noon on his lunch break from work.
Finally, at 8:30, we gathered family and friends around and he opened his call. As you can see, he was thrilled when he finally found the letter portion that told him where he was going. It wasn't until afterwards that he continued to read that it is Spanish Speaking!





We had about 5 phones that we were passing around so that everyone who wasn't able to be there that night could "share in the excitment" when he opened his call. It was priceless!
