On Aug. 20 and 21, we had a Super YW Activity we called "It's All Good". On Wed night we had a dinner catered by Robintino's and served by our ward Priest's in white shirts and ties. We then had an Amazing young women, Brecklyn Marsell, speak to us about how life is good no matter what happens. That night was her 2 month mark from having her left leg amputated. She has an incredible attitude and it was an amazing evening. She is 25, engaged and was the star basketball player in her high school along with horseback riding and yearning to be a doctor. She told of how things turn out the way the Lord wants them to and how we can not learn things on our own without trials in our lives. She truely radiated our Saviors love to each of us. Not a dry eye in the room! We also had musical numbers including a harp to serenade us during dinner and a gorgeous singer to sing "A window to His Love". Decorations, food and all was wonderful! The next morning we met at the church to car

pool down to the SLC temple to do baptizms. During our session, the 6 of the 12 apostles walked past us in the hallways..Elders Worthlin, Oaks, Cook, Neilson, Hales, & Packer. All said Hello to the girls and Elder Neilson even said, "Young Women, you are doing some "good" today! (I get a lump in my throat everytime I remember that part of the day) We then went to ABC4 Studios to be in the audience of Good Things Utah! WE were on TV but you had to know where to look, I tvo'd it though so I have proof! This is us with the stars that were on that day.

Unbeknownest to the stars, one even said, "It's all good, right?"to us in the audience. Amazing! Then we went to the Humanitarian Center where we toured and served by making baby hats and donated 2 tied quilts. We all felt so good about serving there and seeing the good things that the church does for people in need around the world. After this we went to the International Peace Gardens and ate Happy Meals.

Sister Joan Child then came and spoke to us about the good that is being done in Africa as she and Sheldon Child (the newly announced SLC Temple Pres. this comming Nov.) just returned from serving 4 years there while building 2 temples. She had baskets and stories and we laughed and cried together.

My car had a battery that decided to die in the middle of this huge day and so Layton sent the limo (driver included) to save us! The girls thought they were queens and it was so much fun to hear their giggles! They played with the interior window and waved through the dark glass all the way back to Kaysville. It topped the day off just right!

I have to say, I witnessed once again the love that Heavenly Father has for each of us. He cares what we do! This is His church and we can plan everything right down to the very last detail and then just turn it over to Him and watch the magnifianct miracles happen as He guides us through it all. "He will work through us if we are dependable and avaliable and let go of our will". We could not have planned the incredible things that took place over the 2 day event if we had tried. The spirit was so strong and we know already that all the effort was worth every second!
Isn't it all JUST SO GOOD?!

Wow, did you plan all that?! How fun! That's why I'm not in YW - so much work and creativity! HF knows me better :) PS - nice family picture. Erik will be so glad to see he has 3 strands of hair left! haha
