Updating the last year and half- 2012-2013

I realize that blogs are becoming obsolete with the impact to Face Book and other sites but I want to do a quick summery through pictures of the last year and a half. I started a blog specifically for our Israel trip and recently finished and published it into book form. I know, that took a LONG time but I finally caught it up and now I want to catch this one up as well. Consequentially, this will be a brief glance of our busy busy lives in the last 18 months or so.
So, here we go...
In July of 2012 we began our finish work on the basement. We have lived in our home for 5 years at this point and wanted to finish finally the basement. We hired Basement Concepts and they completed the job in about 2 months. It was awesome! We also added a window above our front door, added shutters outside, shelves in our garages, grow boxes in the backyard, window well rock covers and changed out several light fixtures in the house. Here are before and afters:

Mom and Dad donated $ for a much needed dishwasher in the kitchen because they said they appreciated us letting them live with us for 2 months (Nov -Jan2011-12) when they both were very ill. Not necessary but Thanks!
