More good times and THE EVENT!

Week of July 24 -31, 2011     -After the blessing was over, the next day we went to Gabe's specialist to visit with him about our book. He gave us some great reviews and advice and also sent us to the medical library connected to the hospital to talk with the librarian there. She was very helpful as well.

 Grace is sitting front of a wall of pictures at a little place called Stillesburrow bisquits. I have no idea how to spell it. Anyway, our picture with the darling owner is right above her head. We're famous! That was taken a few trips ago so we don't know how long we have been on the wall but it was fun to see us there.

 Happy 50th to me! Man, I had a fantastical celebrated half century birthday. Too bad every year is not my 50th! Cami put together a little party for me and everyone had sent 10 gifts each (5 kids=50 gifts) plus she had gathered 10 favorite things from each kid as well and pictures too and had a book made for me! It was so much fun! I will treasure it forever!

Reunion.

When we arrived the night before, we went to the Baptist hall and started making preparations. The "moses" rain hit fast and hard! Nothing like a good rain storm in the south!

This was Brett's first time to go to the reunion. (I have got to do some sit ups, geez!)

They brought the funny hat and had everyone sing. I was like "oh stop, no really, don''t!" It was fun! Cami & Erik bought a cake to share with everyone!

Last night together at the hotel room before we flew home from Alabama and the kids drove back to Kennesaw GA.

July 31, 2011- My 50th Birthday- flying home...
We arrived home at 5pm or something and we walked into the house to "surprise!" Layton's whole family was there along with Laci and her 2 baby girls!!! I knew Laci was at our house for a few days before we came home. She was there ahead of Daniel who was driving their possessions out to San Fransico and we were meeting up to help drive her out there but I didn't expect this! She had put together a big surprise party and I was shocked! There were balloons everywhere and food and a video! Laci  and Layton had gathered video tributes from friends and family to wish me a happy birthday! Laci is so talented and spent so much time on this thing, it was so much fun, I just couldn't believe it!  I was crying and then.....at the very end of the video, Layton had Michael Wilcox speaking just to me. I didn't even know who he was even though he is famous but then he said "I can't wait to be with you two over in ISRAEL!" I JUST ABOUT FELL OVER! I was stunned! Layton is taking me to the Holy Land in April and I just can't believe it! That is the top of my bucket list and everyone kept asking me what I wanted and I would say, " well ,I want to go to Israel someday but I don't know when that will happen".  I truly fell over! Seriously it was the BEST PRESENT EVER! I was totally stunned and couldn't even talk. Then it hit me and I just sobbed. Layton is seriously the best husband a girl could have! He is so thoughtful and always thinking of how he can make me happy. I love you Toners!
