DAYS 7 & 8 -SAT & SUNDAY JUNE 18-19

Sat. June 18, 2011

Today was a day at sea until around 6pm. We pulled into Victoria Canada at 6pm and got off the ship and walked around the city some. First we had our nightly dinner in the Savoy dinning room and then g and g went up to their rooms and went to bed. The rest of us went off the boat and walked into town. We saw the Parliament Building and the Empress Hotel, both very beautiful buildings. That was about all there was to see in the amount of time we had since it was evening and the sun was setting. The wind was cold and we just walked back to the ship by 10pm. We all were packed and just finished up and went to bed.

Today we docked at 6am and we were off the boat by 9am. We took the shuttle to the airport, checked out luggage in and are just sitting here waiting til 6pm for our plane. The airlines switched our 3pm flight for a later one so we are stuck. Tracy & Max and Brad & Suzette are staying in Seattle until Tuesday night. So we will part company here at the airport. They found a cheaper flight on Southwest but it only flies back on Tuesday so they will stay in a hotel and they rented a car for the next couple of days. They are excited to play some more. We are glad to be getting home. G and G are with us. Grandma’s foot is doing better but not all the way better for sure. We have had a wonderful trip and we enjoyed everything that we were able to do. I just talked to Cami on the phone and Lily has a little jaundus so they are delaying sending them home for several hours right now. She also needs her skin under her tongue clipped, like Gabe had to have. Everything will be fine, I'm sure. Sara called and received her pass word for the internet site to start filling out her papers for a mission. She is so excited! What a new adventure for her! We are so proud of all of our children! Well, I guess I will stop this entry for now. We will be home in about 10 or 12 hours.....fun once in a life time trip!!!!! Thanks G and G Cottrell for the memories!
