Stuck in my underwear and a cute red leather Jacket!

So....we went to Wyoming for a day trip with our business yesterday.....It was a clear day when we left, 47 degrees! I choose a darling red leather sweater jacket since there was no clouds in site to risk water spots and ruin the smooth crushed look of the fashionable attire. As soon as we hit the WY boarder, I had flash backs of my life as a crossing guard for  7 years in sometimes -20 below. The weather can show no mercy at any time of the day. IT started to snow. Not a little bit but a lot. Fast. In short......Had to get pulled out of a ditch with a Kabota Tractor and a rouged lady driver, got stuck just after that on the onramp in Fort Bridger WY onto I-80 for 3 1/2 hours  when they closed the freeway down at the sisters, wiggled through the 400 semi's enough finally to turn around and head towards Kemmerer so that we could bypass the freeway and go through Evanston by way of Randolph, go through Evanston and head for home but nearly ran off the road in a white out, several times, drove in 4 wheel drive at a blazing 30 mph forever, missed the junction because the signs were covered in snow, had to turn around, twice, and ended up stranded in a hotel on the edge of town. So, here we are, in a suite, watching TV after a good night sleep in a warm bed, using hotel toothbrushes.  Lesson learned. Never leave home without an extra pair of clean underwear and a heavy coat!
But, ahh, life is good. I think I will get dressed and go get some free breakfast that I don't have to cook or clean up before we try to head for home! Maybe I'll wear my cute red jacket to the table just to solidify my lameness.
PS- Thank heavens for my laptop downloaded with movies galore!
