We began with a spread that consisted of cream cheese and baby shrimp covered in cocktail sauce and sprinkled with chives, tomato basil crackers, rosemary cracker bread w/ butter balls and mango peach salsa, green olives and dill pickle spears to compliment the crackers. Fresh orange and apple slices brought in the wonderful flavors of nature. The finishing touch was a crepe' bar. Choices were as follows: Strawberry, banana, raspberry, blueberry topping over banana pudding, crowned with whipped cream and sprinkled with powder sugar. Hot fudge or caramel toppings to drizzle over warm apple pie filling or dark red cherry filled crepes were a heavenly choice as well. Oh yes, this was just the precursor to a delightful week of extravagant delicacies that await us....in a mere 5 1/2 months....I think Brad actually shed a few tears........................................
