I have been walking everywhere this summer! Sara's grad, Bryce Canyon, Family reunions, Girls camp, Maui, Mississippi, Trek and now home! I can't believe it all only started in June! Well, here I am again! Finally....., I'm sittin' and I am blogging again!
I have added a couple of posts from smilebox trying to catch up to myself! It has been such a crazy summer and I won't even go into the details of the rediculously CRAZY 24 hrs to get home from Mississippi by way of Alabama and Atlanta, or the freezing cold, wind, blistering hot and rain that we endured on Trek. No, I won't go into the fact that we finally got our grow boxes built and put in the back yard this summer for a garden but not until the last weeks of July and so our only thing that is growing is corn. It's now all of 8 in. high. (Tomatoes are so tiny and cute...salsa will have to come from the veg. section at the store I'm afraid) Yes, I will leave out the fact that we had to buy a new truck because of someone's misjudgement of how deep the "mud puddle" was that he drove through, or the fact that I have had 2 students in college (in PRovs this summer who have put a drain on the wallet with their rent, food and tuition. I will also leave out the fact that it rained on us at girls camp giving me a wicked cold or walking pnemonia right before Hawaii and how swollen my cankles were for days after Maui. And to top it all off, this week Layton was changing a light in my oven and pulled the socket out breaking the glass cover to boot (no pun intended) just before the shoes that he put in the dryer to dry, broke off one of the fins which all will cost me a mere $200 to replace.
So you see, my boots are made for walkin, and that's just what they did! Miles and miles of bless-ed experiences to share with you! I bet you didn't even know! You may think I am complaining but NO, I love it all! The good , the bad and the ugly (which some of my pictures are but what can I do?!)
Yes, when you take the good with the bad, all in all, it has been a good summer.

Man, when you write it all down, you really HAVE been busy!! It starts to add up! I think you look cute in all your pics! And poor Dad... he just CAN get a break! hardee har har :o)
