Thanks for being such great friends over the past ,what ,18 years or so? We had a blast tonight and HAPPY 30th ANNIVERSARY to YOU! We love you to pieces!

We wanted to try out some new diggs but Layton was on call so we couldn't go far and Bryan and Susan drove like 2 hours to get here and so we didn't want to bore them with the "same ole same ole". So, we ate at Bistro 258 on Historic 25th St. in Downtown Ogden. I know, go figure but it was amazing food and we took like 2 hours to eat and visit. It was the best! Nothing beats good friends and to have great food is always a bonus these days! I would recommend it highly. The Halibut coconut macadamia nut entree was fabulous and so were the fuzzy peaches for desert! The steaks are wonderful and the pot stickers and artichoke dip for appetizers were great too. We will go back again, (with another coupon.) (I got one on Restaurant.com for $50 off $100 bill so it's best to take some friends if you want to rack up that kind of a bill for dinner without wine/drinks.) Prices were not too bad for the great food at around 13-25 bucks. Sorry to sound like a food critic but I just thought I would share the info. if you are up for a good meal..... I would love to hear about your favorite restaurants in Utah so that we can try to branch out more from the norm...any suggestions?

I get such a laugh every time I read your blog! It is the best! I don't know where you find all the crazy jokes and stories but they always make my day. On a side note, I think the friendship you and my parents have is one in a lifetime. Rarely without it being family can you go years without contact and then when you finally do get back together it is like no time has passed. I hope for that in some of my friendships in the future! You guys are awesome!
