Do you hate telemarketers calling you right in the middle of dinner? Your wonderful dinner that you slaved over a stove for hours to prepare so that you and your family could finally have some quality time together? OK fine, let's snap out of TV land and let's get real, let's say, it's dinner from Wendy's, or even if it is a cold burger and fries from McDonald's, it still counts because you are finally all sitting in the same room together for a few precious minutes and then your phone rings!
You RUN to pick it up and it's a recording of some sort? Not even a real person? It's so annoying! Don't the employees that "push the buttons" have families that need to eat too?
How about when your pocket starts to vibrate right there at the dinner table? They call our beloved cell phones now? Are you KIDDING me? Isn't that suppose to be our very own, personal, private, friends and family only life line? The one single thing that we have left on this techno planet that is under our control because only we are the ones that can decide who will have the privilege of dialing our number or not!?
Well, apparently, we are now suppose to forgo our last link to that private world called "my cell" !
Hmmm, I guess that is just another one of life's many little intrusions that must be endured~ get used to it you say?~ there is nothing you can do about it~ I should just accept that I am now at the mercy of whoever dials even "my cell" because that number too will be public to the teletubbies! .........
That's right, Layton just informed me that as of this month, they can now call your cell since this month all cell phone numbers go public! They can and will call you and you will be charged for the call on your cell and even that cold burger that you thought couldn't get any worse will now be garnished with pickles, lettuce, tomatoes AND "for only $19.99" you can get it on a sesame seed bun! Would you like fries with that?
We will just have to get used to it I guess~ Go to work so that you can "pay the man", or "the computer generated man", whatever the case may be!
Well, FORGET IT! I'm not going to take it anymore! I'm fighting back and so can you!
