Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers and good vibes! Our Sammers came home on Monday a week ago but is doing well. He has a VERY strong testimony and we are very proud of him for being so close to the spirit and so brave and for setting such a great example for all of us. He loves the Lord and knows Him well.
If you are reading this and don't know me or my family, we belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and we know who we are and why we are here and what we have to do to get to where we want to go! We are Mormon's. Jesus Christ is our Saviour and we love him. His gospel has been restored to the earth. We have a true and living prophet on the earth today and we know that God is our Heavenly Father who loves us and knows us and helps us through our trials. Jesus Christ atoned for us. We are here that we might have joy and that joy comes from doing what is right.
If you have checked in on my blog then you know that I use this blog to joke around a lot but I want you, whoever you are, to know that I know these things are true and no matter what the trial is that you will have in your life, ....and you will have many.....Heavenly Father will answer your prayers. Our trials bring us to our knees when sometimes we have forgotten who is really in charge. We are sent here to be tested and tested we are! I am grateful to know that I am loved by a Father in Heaven and my elder brother and when I am tested I can become closer to them and stronger in my faith and if I can endure to the end, I will live with them again. The same is true for you!
For our friends, Thank you for calling us or hugging us even when you didn't know what to say! It means the world to us to know you care.
You truly are instruments in God's hands.
I hope that when you are going through a trial, even if I am not close by, you will know that I will keep you in my prayers too.
We have friends who have lost children to cancer, to prison, to accidents, and children who are just plain lost even though they are near. We know people and we are people who are not perfect and we never claimed to be but at least we know who is!
