What A Blast!

We had a Blast on our LONG vacation. It's nice to be back home now though. We did miss Brett and Laci & Daniel but I'm sure they will make it to the reunion next year! We were happy to have Sam and Sara bring their friend Brock with us. We enjoyed going to Les Mes at Tuacan on July 3 in St. George to start our trip off right and then off to Tampa from Vegas early on the 4th. We met Sara and Cami and Erik and Gabe at the Silver Lakes Resort in Kissimmee. (Sara was at Cami's in ATL for a week and a half, we missed her but she had so much fun there, thanks Cami!) The condos were gorgeous and huge although we hit the payment running just as soon as we arrived. The fireworks at Disney were fabulous and the people were millions.....oh, well, we did it. Yah for America. ....Sat. July 5th we went to Daytona Beach where the 500 was about to start, we just played in the ocean and let the cars chase each other with all their left turns on their own. Ton's of pickup trucks and campers and tailgating red necks.....funny....Sunday we went to church and hung out at the condo and in the game room. Mon and Tues we Played at Universal ALL DAY! Tues. night we put Sara on a plane to Vegas to go to her Officers Conference at Dixie in St. George, so she continued her vaca there. We, however, went to Clearwater Beach for the day on Wed and the boys rode jet skis and had a blast! Thurs. was the NASA Day and then the family tourney at the mini golf that night. Friday came too soon! We all said our good byes and headed out! Funny thing is Cami and Erik ate lunch at CracerBarrel and so did we but on different sides of the state as they were going home to AtL and we went back to catch our plane in Tampa. Ahh, great minds think alike I guess. Poor Brock. He got his first taste of crab, clams, chicken & dumplings, okra, coconut candy and his first broadway style play and surfing and a bunch of other stuff. He didn't know what hit him but I think he had fun even if we did wear him out. Layton tried to warn him at the start but he came anyway. Layton's cousin Jen met us at the airport in Vegas and we had a great time seeing her family for a visit that night! Thanks again for babysitting the pilot for us Jen! On Sat, back in St. George, mom and dad went with us to the movies and took the boys on the boat fishing while Sara, me and mom went to dinner! Sunday we went to church and then drove home to YW meetings and then crashed around midnight as reality set back in! I haven't caught my breath yet but it's comming~
